Ella and I made homemade pizza for dinner the other night. She is my sidekick in the kitchen(sometimes fun, other times a frustration). With pizza, she helps me roll out the dough and then assemble it. After the girls were in bed and I was cleaning up, I went to retrieve my wedding rings on the window sill since I take them off when working with the dough, and this is what I saw:
That sweet girl had taken off her little plastic heart ring and placed it next to mine. Not out of necessity of course, but because that's what Mom does when she's rolling out dough. Just a little reminder that kids watch us parents constantly--especially when we're not noticing.
