This morning I opened Ella's bottom dresser drawer to put away some clothes and this is what I found:
The combination of the three made me chuckle. Perhaps I do have a Katniss in the making. And it's so Ella-esque that the book is bookmarked--I'm sure she wanted to pick up right where she left off in the archery skills section, or the section that teaches how to properly skin a deer. At least this leads me to believe that I'm not raising my girls to be delicate flowers--and that brings me great satisfaction.

Yes, I am Katniss! I justs finished the first book and I loved it!
And to be fair, that fake dagger was part of a Halloween costume.
