Today my stepdad, Russell, turned 70.
He sure makes 70 look good. Don't you think?
Russ has been my father longer than my dad was my dad. Did you get that?I've been very fortunate.
He gets more and more difficult to keep up with each year. My parents just returned from 2 weeks in Russia to celebrate. I don't think he'll ever slow down.
My Mom made a fabulous salmon dinner.
My stepbro Andrew flew in for the occasion.
Carri joined us and as usual devoured the girls.
And then we caught fireflies in the front yard.
A nice way to turn 70, I think.Happy Birthday, Russ.

He does look good for 70. My dad just turned 70 in May. It is hard to believe they can get that old. Looks like you guys had fun. I just wish I could go to Russia to celebrate my birthday. FUN!!
Oh, the girls are getting so big. No fair! I miss you all. I am so glad you have Russell in your life. Aren't we blessed with the families we have?
